Saucon Valley is 7-1 against Salisbury Township since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Panthers will look to defend their home field against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Saucon Valley will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.

Saucon Valley is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 49-26 margin over Catasauqua on Friday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Rough Riders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Saucon Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Braden Rohn led the charge by rushing for 83 yards and three TDs, while also throwing for 332 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.3 yards per attempt. The Panthers' leading receiver Thomas Cahill was Rohn's top target yet again, picking up 242 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Saucon Valley was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 215 rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their rushing yard total in three consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Salisbury Township was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 20-19 heartbreaker at the hands of Pen Argyl. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 372nd, while the Green Knights are ranked 172nd).

Saucon Valley will have to keep a close watch on Keaton Frye and Jamanni Cruz, a pair of players who had a big impact on Salisbury Township's prior game. Frye rushed for 74 yards and one touchdown, while Cruz picked up 32 receiving yards and one TD.

The win got Saucon Valley back to even at 3-3. As for Salisbury Township, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Saucon Valley took their victory against Salisbury Township in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 33-7 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
