Strong Rock Christian hadn't done well against First Presbyterian Day recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Patriots walked away with a 63-54 win over the Vikings. This was payback for the Patriots, who suffered a 50-32 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Strong Rock Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kasey Keeney, who shot 71% from the field to rack up 28 points in addition to five assists and five steals. The last time Keeney's field goal percentage was this high was back in December of 2024. Kyleigh Rachau was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 11 rebounds and nine steals.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Strong Rock Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The victory got Strong Rock Christian back to even at 2-2. As for First Presbyterian Day, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Strong Rock Christian will head out to take on Flint River Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for First Presbyterian Day, they will venture away from home to square off against Trinity Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
