Recap: Bartlett Bulldogs vs. Schulenburg Shorthorns
On Thursday, it was a hard-fought match, but Bartlett had to settle for a 30-27 loss against Schulenburg. Bartlett has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Schulenburg's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alana Herzik, who scored 5 points along with 3 steals. Herzik is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now stole two or more in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gracie Burton, who scored 3 points along with 3 steals.
Bartlett's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Schulenburg, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Hallettsville the next time they take the court. Bartlett will host Hallettsville at 11:40 a.m. on Thursday, while Schulenburg will head out to face them at 11:40 a.m. on Thursday.
