Baseball Game Preview: Eagle's View Warriors vs. Mandarin Mustangs

The Eagle's View Warriors will head out to face off against the Mandarin Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Mandarin took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Eagle's View, who comes in off a win.

Eagle's View's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Orange Park by a score of 5-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The victory was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Camden Wiggins was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Keegan Beckham was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

Meanwhile, Mandarin fell victim to First Coast and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Buccaneers by a score of 2-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Mustangs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Eagle's View's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Mandarin, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
