Baseball Recap: Williston Northampton Takes a Loss

Williston Northampton blew Frederick Gunn out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday Frederick Gunn got their revenge. The Wildcats fell just short of the Highlanders by a score of 2-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Williston Northampton's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Frederick Gunn, they moved to 3-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Williston Northampton will face off against Westminster School at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Frederick Gunn will be paying especially close attention to the Wildcats' game: after the Wildcats face off against the Martlets, they'll take on Frederick Gunn again at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
