Volleyball Recap: Perry's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Thursday

It was a good run, but Perry unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Houston County Bears by a score of 2-1. The Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the Bears from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Perry sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 22-25, 15-8.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Houston County, they pushed their record up to 14-10 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Perry will take on Lamar County at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Houston County, they will head out on the road to square off against Starr's Mill at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
