Softball Recap: Nation Ford Comes Up Short

If Nation Ford was feeling good fresh off their 11-1 takedown of Riverside on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons fell just short of the Woodmont Wildcats by a score of 5-4 on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-4 last Wednesday.

Nation Ford's defeat dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Woodmont, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-6.

As of now, neither Nation Ford nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
