Volleyball Recap: Window Rock Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Lyannah Thompson and Mia Etsitty + How To Watch

Window Rock suffered their biggest loss since September 6th on Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to the Monument Valley Mustangs. The Fighting Scouts were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Window Rock was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Monument Valley work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-17, 25-19.

Window Rock's loss came despite strong showings from Mia Etsitty and Lyannah Thompson. Etsitty had ten digs, while Thompson had seven assists and three digs. Etsitty has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played.

Window Rock's loss dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Monument Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-10.

Window Rock didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Ganado on the 8th. As for Monument Valley, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Holbrook on the 4th.
