Baseball Recap: Belton-Honea Path Comes Up Short

Belton-Honea Path lost against Seneca back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Belton-Honea Path Bears fell 9-5 to the Seneca Bobcats.

Belton-Honea Path saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Preston Dixon, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Belton-Honea Path's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Seneca, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coming up, Belton-Honea Path will face off against Hillcrest at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Seneca, they will welcome Liberty at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
