Pueblo Central is 9-1 against Pueblo Centennial since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Wildcats will host the Bulldogs at 1:00 p.m. Pueblo Central will be strutting in after a victory while Pueblo Centennial will be coming in after a loss.

While Pueblo Central's win against Pueblo East wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wildcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Eagles on Tuesday.

The team relied heavily on Ben Perko, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Jayce Ibarra, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Pueblo Centennial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against Pueblo South, falling 9-3.

Pueblo Centennial saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Christian Gehrett, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Pueblo Central pushed their record up to 11-7-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.33 runs across that stretch. As for Pueblo Centennial, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.

Everything went Pueblo Central's way against Pueblo Centennial when the teams last played two weeks ago, as Pueblo Central made off with a 13-1 victory. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
