Basketball Game Preview: Mount Ayr Raiders vs. Lenox Tigers

Mount Ayr is a perfect 10-0 against Lenox since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Mount Ayr Raiders will head out to take on the Lenox Tigers. Mount Ayr knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully Lenox likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, everything came up roses for Mount Ayr against East Union as the team secured a 77-34 win. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Lenox came up short against Atlantic on Friday and fell 51-43.

Mount Ayr is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 17 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.6 points over those games. As for Lenox, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-13.

Mount Ayr strolled past Lenox in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 61-45. Will Mount Ayr repeat their success, or does Lenox have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
