Volleyball Recap: Flint Hills Christian Takes a Loss

Flint Hills Christian kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Newton HomeSchool Mustangs by a score of 2-1. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

The victory was the third in a row for Newton HomeSchool, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Flint Hills Christian and Newton HomeSchool will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Warriors see the court they'll take on Cornerstone Family at 5:30 p.m. on the 26th. As for Newton HomeSchool, their break will end when they face Peabody-Burns at 6:00 p.m. on October 6.
