Softball Recap: Pius XI Catholic Comes Up Short

If Pius XI Catholic was riding high fresh off their 15-0 takedown of Milwaukee School of Languages on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Popes came up short against the New Berlin Eisenhower Lions on Thursday, falling 13-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Popes were not able to get on the board.

Pius XI Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for New Berlin Eisenhower, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-3.

Pius XI Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 19-0 loss against Wisconsin Lutheran on the 21st. As for New Berlin Eisenhower, they have also already played their next contest, a 12-1 defeat against Oak Creek on the 18th.
