Volleyball Recap: Shawnee Takes a Loss

Shawnee lost against Jonathan Alder back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Braves came up short against the Pioneers, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-12, 25-12.

Grace Adams paced Shawnee's offense, picking up nine kills. Adams got some help from Jillian Jennings and her eight assists. Adams was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Shawnee has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for Jonathan Alder, they pushed their record up to 13-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Shawnee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Indian Lake on the 25th. As for Jonathan Alder, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Kenton Ridge on the 25th.
