Football Game Preview: Roscoe Plowboys vs. Cross Plains Buffaloes + How To Watch

For the first time this season, Roscoe will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. After each having a week off, they and the Cross Plains Buffaloes will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Roscoe is looking for their season's first victory.

Last Friday, Roscoe had to suffer through a 30-3 loss at the hands of New Home.

Meanwhile, the third road matchup was the charm for Cross Plains, as they earned their first away win of the season. They strolled past Sterling City with points to spare last Friday, taking the game 32-13. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Buffaloes' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Roscoe's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Cross Plains, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.

Everything came up roses for Roscoe against Cross Plains in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 46-7 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Plowboys since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
