Basketball Recap: Walla Walla Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Walla Walla can now relate to. They fell to the North Central Wolfpack 62-56. The Blue Devils were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wolfpack from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

North Central's win on Saturday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Elijah Wright, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine boards. Wright has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Makai Daniels, who posted 15 points and eight boards.

Walla Walla's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for North Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Walla Walla nor North Central have any future games scheduled.
