Basketball Recap: Palmetto Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Palmetto Christian Academy lost against Ben Lippen back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Palmetto Christian Academy was outmatched by Ben Lippen and fell 65-29. Palmetto Christian Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-10.

Despite the loss, Palmetto Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Adelaide Suddeth, who posted nine points and eight boards. Suddeth has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Elsie Newton also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

This is the second loss in a row for Palmetto Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 4-4. As for Ben Lippen, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palmetto Christian Academy will take on Hilton Head Christian Academy in a holiday battle at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ben Lippen, they will be home for the holidays to greet Pinewood Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
