Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Yuma Catholic). They blew past the Tonopah Valley Phoenix 105-11 on Tuesday. The Shamrocks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 games by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Yuma Catholic to victory, but perhaps none more so than Amanda Wiley, who went 7-for-13 from beyond the arc on her way to 31 points in addition to seven rebounds and six assists. What's more, Wiley also posted a 54% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's posted since back in November of 2024. Sadie Estes was another key player, going 13-for-16 en route to 27 points and five steals.

Wiley wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Yuma Catholic was working as a unit and finished the game with 30 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The win was the sixth in a row for Yuma Catholic, bringing their record for this year to 18-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.7 points over those games. As for Tonopah Valley, they are on a 19-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-19.

Yuma Catholic has already played their next matchup, a 66-12 victory against Chino Valley on the 6th. As for Tonopah Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 34-16 loss against Odyssey Institute on the 6th.
