Basketball Game Preview: Fayette County Tigers vs. Hamilton Aggies

Fayette County is 0-9 against Hamilton since December of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Fayette County Tigers will venture away from home to square off against the Hamilton Aggies at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Monday, everything came up roses for Fayette County against South Lamar as the squad secured a 68-33 victory.

Meanwhile, Hamilton strolled past Haleyville with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 43-27. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Aggies.

Hamilton has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. As for Fayette County, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.

Fayette County ended up a good deal behind Hamilton when the teams last played back in December of 2024, losing 62-46. Can Fayette County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
