Basketball Game Preview: Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers vs. Highland Hornets

Cuyahoga Falls hasn't had much luck against Highland recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers will be home for the holidays to greet the Highland Hornets at 7:00 p.m.

Cuyahoga Falls is headed into Wednesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They took a 56-38 bruising from Tallmadge. While losing is never fun, the Black Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 304th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 121st).

Meanwhile, Highland put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 59-34 margin over Brunswick. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 21 points or more this season.

Highland pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Cuyahoga Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Cuyahoga Falls came up short against Highland in their previous meeting back in January, falling 61-53. Can Cuyahoga Falls avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
