Triad kept a clean sheet against Mascoutah on Thursday. They came out on top against the Indians by a score of 2-0. Given Triad's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 25th, while Mascoutah are ranked 85th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Izzy Hancock and Lilly Zobrist scored both of Triad's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Triad's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Mascoutah, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5-1.
