Triad Math and Science Academy's defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 6-3-2. As for Phoenix Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7-1.

Phoenix Academy might still be hurting after the 10-1 defeat they got from Triad Math and Science Academy in their previous matchup back in October of 2024.
