Volleyball Recap: South Charleston Gets the Win + How To Watch

After losing to Ritchie County the last time they met, South Charleston decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Black Eagles came out on top against the Rebels by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Black Eagles.

South Charleston easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-11.

Brianna Anderson paced South Charleston's offense, picking up six kills. Anderson got some help from Hailey Maxwell and her 14 assists. Anderson also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Payton Baskin, racking up three apiece.

The win got South Charleston back to even at 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Charleston will square off against Ripley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ritchie County, they will venture away from home to challenge Grafton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
