Softball Recap: Gladstone Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Gladstone's offense. They fell 3-0 to the Scappoose Indians on Wednesday. If the Gladiators were looking for revenge after losing 14-1 to the Indians when the teams met back in March of 2018, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Gladstone dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Scappoose, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 9-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gladstone will venture away from home to square off against Banks at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Scappoose, they will head out to challenge St. Helens at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Indians' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 10.1 runs per game this season.
