Volleyball Recap: Port Richmond Comes Up Short

Port Richmond was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the McKee Vo-Tech Seagulls. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Seagulls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Port Richmond's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for McKee Vo-Tech, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Port Richmond is set to take on their familiar foe Tottenville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, McKee Vo-Tech will challenge rival Petrides at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
