Baseball Recap: Fruitvale Takes a Loss

Fruitvale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 12-0 to the Martins Mill Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 on Monday.

Fruitvale saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was CADEN ERWIN, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Fruitvale's loss dropped their record down to 4-13-2. As for Martins Mill, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-6.

Fruitvale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Martins Mill, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bowie at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
