KIPP Newark Lab's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Newark Tech, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. KIPP Newark Lab will take on East Side in a holiday battle at at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Newark Tech and Livingston will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
