Softball Recap: Atlanta Comes Up Short

Atlanta managed to slip by De Kalb the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Atlanta Rabbits lost 16-1 to the De Kalb Bears on Friday. The Rabbits were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Atlanta saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carlajah Adger, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

This is the second loss in a row for Atlanta and nudges their season record down to 11-5-1. As for De Kalb, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.
