Soccer Recap: North Lincoln Comes Up Short

North Lincoln was the 4-3 winner over Highland Tech when they last played one another back in September of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights fell just short of the Rams by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The game got a bit rough at times, as the refs handed out a total of three yellow cards before it was all over: North Lincoln's Ethan Graham and Landon Howell and Highland Tech's Noah Karr were all carded.

North Lincoln's goal came courtesy of Bryce Custer, who's now up to two this season.

North Lincoln now has a losing record of 1-2-1. As for Highland Tech, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

North Lincoln wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 2-2 draw against Huss on the 23rd. As for Highland Tech, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 4-3 loss against South Point on the 23rd.
