Basketball Game Preview: Hall Red Devils vs. Rock Falls Rockets

Hall is on a five-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Rock Falls a five-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Saturday. The Hall Red Devils will welcome the Rock Falls Rockets at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Hall managed to slip by LaSalle-Peru the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Red Devils came up short against the Cavaliers on Tuesday, falling 57-34. The loss was the Red Devils' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Rock Falls played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 59-38 to Byron. The contest marked the Rockets' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Hall fell to 3-1. As for Rock Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Hall took a serious blow against Rock Falls in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 74-30. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Red Devils were down 47-22.
