Two dominant signal callers in Taylor Jacobs Jr and Jp Holsombake are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. After each having a week off, the Lincoln Trojans and the Mosley Dolphins will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Lincoln was handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Rickards last Friday. The Trojans put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp 35-12 win. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won three in a row.

Kabran Paul went supernova, picking up 85 receiving yards and three TDs. That's the most receiving yards he has posted since back in November of 2024.

Lincoln didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Maliek Denmark, Malachi Acosta, and Paul Pj Davis picked up one apiece.

Meanwhile, Mosley beat Florida State University High School 26-17 last Thursday.

The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Holsombake and Jayme Miller. Holsombake had a great game and threw for 203 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.2% of his passes. Meanwhile, Miller did his best for the losing side, throwing for 211 yards and one TD, while also punching in one score on the ground.

Lincoln's record now sits at 6-4. As for Mosley, their record is now 9-1.

Lincoln couldn't quite finish off Mosley when the teams last played back in November of 2021 and fell 31-28. Can the Trojans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
