Basketball Recap: Akron-Fairgrove Takes a Loss

Akron-Fairgrove lost against Carsonville-Port Sanilac back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Akron-Fairgrove Vikings took a blow against the Carsonville-Port Sanilac Tigers, falling 52-16. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Akron-Fairgrove's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Carsonville-Port Sanilac, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-9 record this season.

Akron-Fairgrove wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 46-13 defeat against All Saints Central on the 21st. As for Carsonville-Port Sanilac, they will be playing at home against Caseville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
