Baseball Recap: King Brahmas vs. Alice Coyotes
King was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell victim to a rough 10-1 loss at the hands of the Alice Coyotes. The result was an unpleasant reminder to King of the 8-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

On Alice's side, ROBERT RAMIREZ made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over seven innings pitched. RAMIREZ was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two RBI.
In other batting news, MATTHEW CARRILLO was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now stolen at least one in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was LANDON RODRIGUEZ, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.
King's loss dropped their record down to 5-14-1. As for Alice, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-10-2 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. King will face off against Bishop at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last three games Bishop has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Alice, they will head out on the road to square off against Calallen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Calallen: 1.7, Alice: 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
