            Basketball Recap: Port Chester Rams vs. Lincoln Lancers        
        
		
        
        
            Port Chester won the last time they faced Lincoln and things went their way  on Friday too. The Port Chester Rams really took it to the Lincoln Lancers for the full four quarters, racking up  a  43-11 victory. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three  games by 22  points or more this season.

 Port Chester's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Karah Provenzano led the charge by  going 6 of 9  en route to 12  points and seven  steals. Provenzano has been hot, having  posted three or more  steals the last seven times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Sophia Faraci, who  went 6 for 8  on her way to 12 points and three  steals.
Port Chester has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record  this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.0 points per game. As for Lincoln, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the  defeat, which was their seventh straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Coincidentally, Port Chester and Lincoln will both be playing White Plains the next time they take the court. Port Chester will  host White Plains at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday, while Lincoln will head out to face them  at 4:45  p.m.  on Thursday.
