Soccer Recap: A&M Consolidated Comes Up Short

After flying high against Rudder last Tuesday, A&M Consolidated came back down to earth. The A&M Consolidated Tigers fell just short of the Lake Creek Lions by a score of 1-0 on Friday.

A&M Consolidated's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Lake Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the A&M Consolidated challenge the College Station at 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday. College Station will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something A&M Consolidated surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lake Creek, they will challenge Rudder at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Creek is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.
