It's playoff time, and Royall had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the North Crawford Trojans 3-0 on Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on nine straight.
The final score came out to 25-18, 25-11, 25-13.
Royall can attribute much of their success to Ella Schroeder, who had six digs and two aces.
Schroeder wasn't the only good servers: Royall was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in eight consecutive matchups.
Royall's victory bumped their record up to 23-7. As for North Crawford, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season.
Royall wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against De Soto on the 25th. North Crawford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
