Softball Recap: Honesdale Takes a Loss

Honesdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Dunmore Bucks, falling 9-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bucks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-2 on April 2nd.

Honesdale's record now sits at 2-11. As for Dunmore, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-5.

Looking ahead, Honesdale will venture away from home to face off against Lakeland at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The last four games the Chiefs have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Dunmore, they will welcome Mid Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
