Basketball Recap: Jordan Red Jackets vs. Columbus Blue Devils
Jordan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 76-46 loss at the hands of the Columbus Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, with their most recent loss being a 83-21 defeat last Friday.
Columbus found their leader in sophomore Harmony Franklin, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and ten boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Franklin has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jayla Lockhart, who posted 14 points and five steals.
Jordan's loss dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Columbus, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-15.
Jordan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Columbus, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Carver at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Carver will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Columbus surely won't give up without a fight.
