Preview: Walnut Hills Eagles vs. Little Miami Panthers
The Walnut Hills Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Little Miami Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Last Monday, Walnut Hills ended up a good deal behind Winton Woods and lost 57-39.
Meanwhile, Little Miami earned a 55-48 victory over Anderson on Monday.
Little Miami's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Bella Houillion, who scored 18 points along with 6 steals, and Lilah Dalraine, who scored 19 points along with 4 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Houillion has scored at least 25% of Little Miami's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabby Wilson, who scored 2 points along with 9 rebounds.
Walnut Hills' victory lifted them to 2-1 while Winton Woods' loss dropped them down to 1-1.
Everything went Walnut Hills' way against Little Miami in their previous meeting back in January as Walnut Hills made off with a 51-31 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Walnut Hills since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
