Volleyball Recap: Ocoee Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Ocoee entered their tilt with Central Pointe Christian Academy on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the CPCA. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 last Tuesday.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Ocoee was: they took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-13, 25-11.

Ocoee got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Maya Henderson out in front who had eight aces, seven kills, and four digs. With that strong performance, Henderson is now averaging an impressive 2.1 aces per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Sarah Proper, who had seven kills, seven digs, and five aces.

They weren't the only good server: Ocoee was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 24 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Ocoee's record now sits at 6-2. As for Central Pointe Christian Academy, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-13.

Coming up, Ocoee will venture away from home to take on Colonial at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Central Pointe Christian Academy, they will host Polk Christian Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
