Volleyball Recap: Cypress Springs Takes a Loss

Cypress Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Morton Ranch Mavericks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mavericks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Thursday.

Cypress Springs' loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Morton Ranch, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cypress Springs will take on Eisenhower at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Morton Ranch, they will be playing at home against Katy Taylor at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
