Softball Recap: Jordan-Matthews Takes a Loss

Jordan-Matthews suffered their biggest defeat since March 14th on Wednesday. They came up short against the Chatham Central Bears, falling 13-1. The Jets just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Jordan-Matthews' defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Chatham Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.

Jordan-Matthews and Chatham Central should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. The Jets (ranked 180th) will meet Bartlett Yancey (ranked 437th) at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Chatham Central will take on Seaforth at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (119 vs. 245).
