Recap: Rio Vista Eagles vs. Cayuga Wildcats
The Rio Vista Eagles fell victim to the Cayuga Wildcats''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were the victim of a tough 26-0 defeat at the hands of the Wildcats. Rio Vista's defeat continues a unfortunate trend for the squad, making it three in a row.
Rio Vista has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season. As for Cayuga, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.
Rio Vista does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Cayuga will square off against Riesel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Riesel is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
