Softball Recap: Duluth East Comes Up Short

Duluth East lost to Cambridge-Isanti back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Greyhounds fell 8-3 to the Bluejackets. The Greyhounds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lauren Pozniak made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run. That home run was her first of the season. Mackenzie. Olek was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Duluth East's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Cambridge-Isanti, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

As of now, neither Duluth East nor the Bluejackets have any future games scheduled.
