Baseball Recap: Westlake Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Westlake put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their undefeated season alive. They blew past the Pebble Hills Spartans 11-4. The result was nothing new for the Chaparrals, who have now won five matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Jack Casteel was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he launched this season. Another player making a difference was Holland Page, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Westlake was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .520. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pebble Hills only posted a batting average of .348.

Westlake's record is now 7-0-1. As for Pebble Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Coming up, Westlake will square off against Frisco at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pebble Hills, they will be playing at home against Coronado at 10:00 a.m. on March 8th.
