Baseball Recap: TMI-Episcopal Takes a Loss

TMI-Episcopal was the 9-4 winner over Antonian Prep when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers took a 12-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Apaches on Friday.

Ankith Padala made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Brighton Dietrich, who scored two runs and stole a base.

TMI-Episcopal has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for Antonian Prep, they moved to 11-13-1 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

While TMI-Episcopal had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
