Volleyball Game Preview: Southwest Guilford Cowboys vs. Cox Mill Chargers

The Southwest Guilford Cowboys will head out to face off against the Cox Mill Chargers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Southwest Guilford is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Cuthbertson. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cowboys.

Southwest Guilford walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-17, 22-25, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Cox Mill made easy work of Page on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Cox Mill got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 32-30, 25-16, 25-21.

Cox Mill's victory bumped their record up to 25-1. As for Southwest Guilford, their win bumped their record up to 19-11.

Southwest Guilford might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Cox Mill when the teams last played back in January of 2021. Can the Cowboys avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
