Basketball Game Preview: Clinton Red Devils vs. Liberty Red Devils

Clinton will challenge Liberty at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Clinton will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Last Thursday, everything went Clinton's way against Fairfield Central as Clinton made off with a 39-18 victory. The Red Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Liberty was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 43-38 to Chesnee. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Clinton will need to focus on slowing down Natalie White, one of several Liberty players who made an impact when they last played. She posted 17 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Madison Henderson, who earned six points and seven boards.

Clinton's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-5. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.3 points over those games. As for Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to 5-18.
