Basketball Recap: Honaker Takes a Loss

Honaker lost to Rural Retreat back in February of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers took a 58-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians. The Tigers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Honaker's record now sits at 1-8. As for Rural Retreat, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-8.

Looking ahead, Honaker will head out on the road to take on Patrick Henry at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Rural Retreat, they will be playing at home against Bland County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
