Recap: Anthony Wildcats vs. Jefferson Silver Foxes
The Anthony Wildcats can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They blew past Jefferson 38-17. That's another feather in the cap for Anthony, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Julie Cuellar continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 28 points. That makes it 15 consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Anthony's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aissa Castillo, who scored eight points.
Anthony now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Jefferson, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.
Anthony is on the road again on Friday and play against Irvin at 1:30 p.m. on December 29th. Irvin comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 23 points in their last five games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Jefferson, they will be playing at home against Chapin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
